Dr. Kimberly Jeffrey is a board-certified nurse practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a deep-rooted commitment to advancing nursing practice in endocrinology. As the founder of Grand Junction Endocrinology, she combines clinical expertise with a strong foundation in nursing values—compassion, advocacy, and holistic care—for adults with complex endocrine conditions. With over a decade of clinical experience in endocrinology and advanced training in diabetes and lipid management, she brings a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to caring for adults with complex endocrine disorders.
Dr. Jeffrey earned her DNP from Michigan State University in 2020 and graduated valedictorian of her master’s program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2013. She is nationally certified in adult-gerontology acute care and holds additional credentials as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and Clinical Lipid Specialist (CLS). Her clinical practice spans general endocrinology, with a special interest in lipid and bone disorders.
As a nurse leader, Dr. Jeffrey plays an active role in professional development and education. She currently serves on multiple national committees with the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), where she contributed as a faculty member to the Certificate in the Fundamentals of Obesity and Weight Loss program. She has also published in peer-reviewed journals and regularly precepts graduate nurse practitioner and physician assistant students.
Dr. Jeffrey is passionate about improving access to specialty care, providing telemedicine consultations across several states, and engaging in community and professional education. She is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality endocrine care to her patients. Her approach reflects the best of nursing and advanced practice—blending evidence-based medicine with personalized, compassionate care.
